I'm a passionate web technologist leading front-end and back-end strategy for a global, multilingual financial software company. I ensure our enterprise marketing website is blazing fast, ADA and GDPR compliant, SEO-optimized, and engineered to drive measurable conversions through A/B testing, personalization, and marketing automation.

Sitting at the intersection of performance, marketing, and governance, I architect scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructures. I bring deep experience across leading CMS platforms - including WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal, and SharePoint - adapting to each organization’s unique content and governance needs.

Over my career, I’ve led digital initiatives across multiple industries - including professional sports (Sacramento Kings), healthcare (Barton Health), tourism (Sierra-at-Tahoe), and now fintech (Billtrust). This range has sharpened my ability to balance user experience, compliance, and business goals under very different conditions.

I leverage technologies like Cloudflare (CDN, WAF, security), GA4, Google Tag Manager, Coveo AI search, Marketo, Qualified Chat, Mutiny, and more to deliver high-performing, data-driven digital experiences.

My goal? To transform complex marketing websites into strategic growth engines - where web technology directly supports business outcomes.

Work History

2021 - Present: Billtrust (Principal Web Technologist)
I started at Billtrust as a Senior Web Technologist, moved into a Lead role, and I’m a Principal Web Technologist. Along the way, I was honored to be named Rookie of the Year 🏆, a recognition that set the tone for my journey with this incredible team.
2015 - 2021: Sierra-at-Tahoe (Digital Marketing Manager)
I started as Digital Marketing Coordinator before being promoted to Digital Marketing Manager within a year. I was the gatekeeper to all things digital for Sierra-at-Tahoe’s marketing department: website, mobile app, email marketing & CRM, analytics, SEO, SMS, and online advertising. Along the way, I was honored the Silver Eagle award 🏆 for my accomplishments of launching a full website redesign that spanned across the all-digital platforms: mobile app, email marketing, and more.
2012 - 2015: Barton Health (Web Designer)
Led the redesign and redevelopment of Barton Health’s primary website and nine additional public-facing properties, transforming the organization’s digital presence into a modern, accessible, and user-friendly healthcare platform. This project was a significant milestone in my career, showcasing my ability to manage complex web projects and deliver impactful results in the healthcare industry.
2009 - 2012: Sacramento Kings (New Media Webmaster)
I grew up playing competitive basketball. Working in the NBA was a dream come true. I started at the Sacramento Kings as an intern, after graduating from college, and was promoted to lead webmaster within the first year. I was responsible for UX/UI design, frontend development, CMS architecture, content publishing systems, and fan engagement experiences across the Sacramento Kings website, team blog, and Kings Dance Team sub-site. This role was a formative experience that shaped my approach to web design and development, teaching me the importance of user experience, performance, and the power of the web to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

Side Gigs & Volunteer Work

2024 - Present: Sierra Educational Foundation (Director of Digital)
As the Director of Digital Marketing for the Sierra Educational Foundation, I oversee the strategic management of our digital presence. My responsibilities include managing our website and all social media accounts, ensuring they effectively communicate our mission and engage our community. I also handle all online advertising efforts, optimizing campaigns to maximize our reach and impact. Through my role, I contribute to promoting our programs, increasing awareness, and driving engagement to support our athletes’ development and success. This position allows me to apply my digital marketing expertise in a meaningful way, helping to further the foundation’s goals and make a positive impact on the lives of student-athletes.
2012 - 2021: Freelance Web Design & Development
Alongside my full-time roles, I took on freelance projects for a variety of clients, ranging from small businesses to non-profits. These projects allowed me to apply my skills in web design and development to help clients establish and enhance their online presence. I worked closely with clients to understand their needs and goals, delivering custom solutions that were both visually appealing and functionally robust. This freelance work not only expanded my experience but also reinforced my commitment to creating high-quality digital experiences that meet the unique needs of each client.
2013 - 2018: Bakpocket Products (Co-Founder & Director of Marketing)
I co-founded Bakpocket Products, a company that designs and sells innovative travel accessories. As the Director of Marketing, I was responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and grow our brand. This included managing our online presence, designing and developing the company's ecommerce website, creating marketing materials, and overseeing advertising campaigns. My role at Bakpocket allowed me to apply my marketing skills in a new context, contributing to the growth and success of the company while also gaining valuable experience in entrepreneurship and product marketing.
