I’ve always believed the best experiences happen outside your comfort zone.
For me, that usually means getting outdoors, chasing adventure, and exploring new places with the people I love most - my wife, our three kids, and our golden retriever.
Over the years, travel has taken us from glaciers in Alaska to temples in Myanmar, from fishing villages in Mexico to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Along the way, I’ve learned that the places you visit are memorable, but the experiences and people are what stay with you.
So far, I’ve been fortunate to visit 32 countries — including an unforgettable six-month trip around the world with my wife in 2015.

2025 - Australia
An unforgettable experience exploring one of the world’s most iconic natural wonders. Seeing the reef firsthand was something I’ll never forget. This trip was a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and relaxation, creating unforgettable memories with family and friends.
2022 - Los Barriles, Mexico
2019 - Australia
A more laid-back trip focused on beaches, coastal towns, and enjoying the outdoors. Noosa quickly became one of my favorite places in Australia.
2017 - Southwest National Parks
An unforgettable road trip through some of the most unique landscapes in the United States. Highlights included hiking The Narrows in Zion, seeing Thor’s Hammer in Bryce Canyon, and watching sunrise over Horseshoe Bend.
2016 - Banff National Park, Canada
Banff easily lived up to the hype. The color of the lakes almost didn’t look real, and the mountain scenery throughout Alberta was incredible. We spent most of our time around Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, but also explored the town of Banff and did some hiking in the area. A truly unforgettable trip.
2016 - Dominican Republic
2015 - Six-Month Trip Around the World
Without question, the most life-changing travel experience of my life.
Over six months, my wife and I traveled through New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Argentina, Ecuador, the Galápagos Islands, and Peru.
Some highlights included:
- Hiking and road-tripping through New Zealand in a campervan
- Exploring Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan
- Temples and sunrise hot air balloons in Myanmar
- Motorbiking through Southeast Asia
- Exploring the Swiss Alps in Switzerland
- Adventuring around Norway and the fjords
- Hiking Machu Picchu and exploring the Galápagos Islands in South America
It completely changed how I view culture, perspective, and adventure. It also sparked a lifelong love of travel and exploration that continues to this day.
2014 - Costa Rica
A perfect combination of adventure and rainforest. Hiking near Arenal Volcano and swimming near La Fortuna Waterfall made this one of the most naturally beautiful places we’ve visited. We also loved exploring the beaches and wildlife of Manuel Antonio National Park. A truly unforgettable trip.
2013 - Southern Europe
Exploring the charming streets of San Sebastián, the historic walls of Dubrovnik, the canals of Venice, the stunning coastal views of Taormina, and hiking around Mount Etna in Sicily made this trip an unforgettable European adventure. The combination of culture, history, and natural beauty across these destinations created a truly memorable experience.
2013 - Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Playa del Carmen, exploring the ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Cozumel made this trip a perfect tropical getaway. The combination of history, culture, and natural beauty created an unforgettable experience.
2012 - Alaska
One of the most rugged and memorable trips I’ve taken. We explored glaciers by kayak and plane, rode ferries through coastal fjords, went fishing, and saw brown bears in the wild. Alaska felt massive, remote, and completely unforgettable.
Still Exploring & Always Planning the Next Adventure
There are still plenty of places on my list, and I’m looking forward to experiencing more of the world with my family in the years ahead. Because at the end of the day, the best part of travel isn’t just the destination — it’s the memories made along the way.
