🚀 Overview

Designed and developed a full-scale real estate platform for Real Tahoe Estates to establish a strong digital presence and support buyer and seller engagement. The site combined rich content, advanced property search, and multiple third-party integrations to create a comprehensive home discovery experience.

👤 My Role

Lead Web Designer & Developer responsible for end-to-end delivery, including UX/UI design, frontend and backend development, CMS architecture, content creation, and third-party integrations.

⚠️ The Challenge

  • No existing website or digital presence
  • Required creation of all content from scratch (pages, blogs, imagery)
  • Needed to support both buyers and sellers with different user journeys
  • Complex integration requirements (MLS/IDX, maps, reviews, scoring systems)
  • High expectations for visual quality and branding in a competitive real estate market
  • Required scalable content system for ongoing blog publishing and listings

Buyer Engagement & Automation:

  • Built automated property alert system for new listings
  • Implemented home valuation tool for sellers
  • Added mortgage calculator to support buyer decision-making

Location Intelligence & Discovery:

  • Integrated Google Maps for geographic exploration
  • Implemented walkability, biking, and transit scores by location
  • Added points of interest feeds (restaurants, shopping, activities) with reviews

Scheduling & Interaction:

  • Developed online showing and reservation system
  • Enabled users to schedule and manage property viewings

Content & SEO Strategy:

  • Created and structured hundreds of blog posts targeting buyers and sellers
  • Wrote all page copy, headlines, and content from scratch

Visual Design:
